Recently WETM 18 published an article about the Canton Mayoral dronegate scandal, and Canton residents were not happy. Within hours of the article being published on facebook, the Canton army showed up to defend their peeping tom. Some even came by to brag about getting their dogs drunk, a favorite canton tradition.

Shawn Packard was recently arrested after a naked women noticed his drone flying right outside her window. Many in the town instantly tried to cover it up. Moderators of Facebook groups blocked any conversation about the topic, and hundreds of people would come out to attack any website or page that published an article that mentioned Shawn Packard. Their efforts failed however, because Yahoo eventually picked up the story. Good luck hiding that.
When WETM 18 News published an article about this incident, the same faces came out to defend their favorite peeping tom:
