Two councils members as well as the borough secretary submitted their resignations on Monday April 13th at the monthly borough meeting.
The council members who submitted their resignation were George Jennings and Brian Koval. The secretary who resigned is Olive Emerick.
The local Canton Borough Karens came out in force to try to stir up drama on the local facebook group.

Some residents spoke out against specific borough members, suggesting some hidden vendetta:
Others expressed a genuine concern on the direction their town was headed. What do you expect, when you elect a mayor who previously uploaded a video of animal abuse, and also who was arrested after a woman who had just gotten out of the shower noticed a drone flying outside her window.
You reap what you sow, elections have consequences.
